Brace Yourself! Susan took a lot of pictures of Lucia today!
Tonight we ate dinner at the Fireside Cafe, one of our favorite local spots.
Mari got Lucia to sleep today. She was fussy when Susan handed her over and a few minutes later she was asleep.
Yesterday we set a record for the most consecutive days without a measurable snowfall and today we had our first measurable snow of the winter. The kids were up and out early to play. It warmed up through the morning and the snow was gone by lunch.
Since the time of Andrew’s infancy I have a long history of taking the early risers (everyone but Susan) out to run errands on Saturday morning, sometimes involving Home Depot, almost always involving the grocery store. This morning Lucia joined us for the first time. She performed excellently, only fussing for about 30 seconds. We celebrated the trip by enjoying some donuts by the fire at Dahl’s.
We put our tree up today! We have a tradition of singing ‘O Christmas Tree’ every night before bed.
Andrew has been taking piano lessons this fall and he loves it!
The kids have been spending a lot of time at the table lately, coming up with all sorts of things.
The 2012 Living History Farms race was today. The kids ran in the morning and I did the bike ride in the afternoon.
Mari told us a lovely story before bedtime last night.
Today is Lucia’s one month birthday. She spent the day sleeping and nursing, which is how she spends every day. She was awake for a few minutes this morning and Susan took the opportunity to take some pictures.
