Elliot was our only runner at the conference cross country meet this afternoon. It has been a rough season for all our kids because we have had several colds and Mari has been dealing with an abdominal strain, or something of that sort. We all had a cold in September that I know took me a while to recover from. Elliot had the cold and Andrew is still coughing and unable to run. Hopefully everyone can get healthy and have a strong finish to the season.
This evening we celebrated Andrew’s birthday with the Reagens and the Liesses.
Andrew and Mari went to Valley High School’s homecoming dance today.
I have been woefully behind on the blog. I decided that to catch up I would just do a few posts that cover entire months. Here comes May. . .
Feeling the pinch with all the kids’ activities ramping up this spring, we decided it is time to invest in a third car. Andrew is paying for part of it and he will be the primary driver.
Andrew had his first orchestra concert since the beginning of the pandemic. We chose to stream the concert and watched from the comfort of our home.
Today we celebrated Andrew and Lucia’s birthdays! Mimi, Papa, and the Reagens came over for walking tacos, with optional skyline taco meat, presents, and cake. With the nice weather we are still hosting outside when possible.
