Today was the first day of school for the 3 older kids – sort of. We had a vaccine snafu with Elliot and he was not able to go.
Mari and Hope made this awesome cake.
This evening we celebrated Mari’s 14th birthday with Susan’s parents and the Reagens. We had Skyline for dinner and the candy-dish cake that has become popular among our kids.
Mari at 14 is turning into a smart, independent young woman. She does well in school, is very responsible, and is particular about many things in life. She does not hesitate to share her feelings openly.

Mari made this locker caddy and pandunicorn this year in school. Mari had a good year in school this year, doing well in the academic and non-academic classes.
Mari played an Oompa Loompa in her school’s spring play, Charlie and the Chocolate factory. She has been working hard for the past few weeks and did great this weekend.
