Noccalula Falls Hike
Noccalula Falls Park
The campground we are currently staying at is associated with a city park in Gadsden, AL. The park has a train, a petting zoo, a sort of regular zoo, with a lion, some old buildings, and some other fun features. Susan and the kids hit the park earlier today for some exploring.

Pigeon Forge, TN -> Gadsden, AL
Today we made the move from Pigeon Forge to Gadsden, AL. It is on our route to Orange Beach. We are staying a nice city park. We are planning a slower week than weeks past, getting some things done around the RV.
The drive down 75 on the way here was tough. Traffic was thick and the weather was rough. At one point I had to slam on my brakes in the rain when the traffic in front and around the bend came to a standstill. Luckily I was trying out boost level 3 on the brake control, which I think likely made the difference.

Rainbow Falls Hike
Today we did the Rainbow Falls hike. It is 2.7 miles, uphill, to the falls, then you have to come back down. It took us about 6 hours. The kids did great, with the older three leading the way. Lucia hiked probably 90% of it and did great. She was very hungry at lunch time and she took a nap on the drive home. Susan carried Rose in the Boba most of the day.
